Statement
Made by pouring acrylic paint and manipulating the movement, my paintings are inner landscapes.
Poured organic forms flow, and collide, in rhythms. Referencing fluid dynamics and motion in nature, the work is a process of controlled chaos.
Repeated patterns and gestures are developed and explored within the language of abstraction. They are mazes, labyrinths for the eye, and complex puzzles. The journey and landscape is laid out in layers of paint. Paths coalesce with an ephemeral depth and physicality. The repetition of forms becomes the network and structure of the painting, each journey evolving on its own.
